Creating Healthy Space

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is a small open town, covered with turquoise skies, pink walls, and friendly people. I enjoy getting out of the city and spending time with mother nature, and Santa Fe was the perfect place. It’s so important as humans that we create healthy space for ourselves living in a chaotic world. When you create healthy space outside of social media, a stressful schedule, and the up /downs of our own world, you’re opening the door to be at peace with yourself. It’s important that we take the time to reflect on our lives and choices. Make sure that you don’t over think, but simply learn from pervious decisions.

Sometimes when I need a place for a quick get away, I go to my room. I enjoy spending time with me, because I love me, and I have no problem with me. I like to keep my brain functioning, so when I’m in my room and away from the outside world, cleaning my closet is an activity that allows me to create space. I am able to create space in my closet and I am able to create space in my mind. It’s like killing two bird with one stone, I can clean up and free my mind. I find cleaning very calming and fun, because when you add your favorite music to an activity or chore, it’s a great energy booster. Make sure that you take time to make your personal needs a priority. Mental and physical health is important, so make sure that you are aware of the space that you are surrounded by and remember that you have the power to create your space.
