Award season in Los Angeles is always exciting, especially on the red carpet. You never know what people are going to wear or in some cases, what they are not going to wear. My top favors are those entertainers who stay true to their style. This award season I’ve been loving outfits that speak “less is more”. When an outfit speaks for itself, thats when you know you’ve made your mark.

Chrissy Teigen absolutely stole the show in her Yousef Al-Jasmi Gown. The angelic white showed off her innocence of being a soon to be mom. She was blinged out in a Lorraine Shwartz ring and earrings, but topped it with a diamond ring from Ofira Jewels. Let’s not forget her best accessory of the evening, her effortless mommy glow. Congrats to her and her hubby, John Legend, on their baby girl.

My favorite millennial entertainer and style icon, Zendaya, always slays my life. She gave simple but chic in her double breasted jacket and pant suit. I love when I see a female dominant in a suit, and thats exactly what she did. Being the new face of CoverGirl cosmetics, she made sure she beat her own face with CoverGirl’s Nudes TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette . Just knowing that she did her own makeup makes me love her even more.
3. Gary Clarke Jr. and Nicole Trunfio

The soulful rocker, Gary Clarke Jr, stayed true to his style rocking his dope signature hat, a neck scarf, and warn out style boots. To his left, was his fiancée, Nicole Trunfio, who sparkled in her Zuhair Murad jumpsuit. Her burgundy color glossy lip, was the perfect amount of color to make her outfit pop. Fun Fact! Clark Jr. celebrated his birthday at the 58th Grammy Awards.
4. Big Sean

Big Sean stepped out on the red carpet looking like classic man. The rapper wore a white dinner jacket with a black shawl collar. He gave us some chocolate sexiness with his un buttoned collard shirt, but all together he looked quite dapper.
5. The Weeknd and Bella Hadid

The Weeknd never fails to make a statement especially with his styled matted dreads. He looked sharp in his black on black suit, paired with a black collard shirt and black bow tie. His top model girlfriend, Bella Hadid, also wore black, but gave me fever with a deep plunging neck line and a sleek hair style. Not going to lie, but I love them as a couple!
6. Sam Hunt

Country singer, Sam Hunt, stole my heart in his pink Dolce and Gabana suit. Since the Grammys were the day after Valentine’s Day, the young heart throb kept the love going in a pastel and springy color. We all know it takes a real man to wear pink! (wink wink).
Can’t Wait to see the Oscars!
